WHAT SETS GATOR TRAX BOATS APART FROM THE REST?

No Crimps or Keels

The bottom of Gator Trax Boats are smooth because we use heavy gauge aluminum – .125 or .190 in 5086 marine grade alloy. The bottom is smooth and void of crimps. This allows the hull to easily slide over banks, logs, stumps, and other obstructions with no drag and no tracking caused by crimps.

Round Chines

Many of Gator Trax Boat hulls are a solid one piece design. The chines are rounded and corners have been eliminated. This allows for poling sideways in pure mud and sliding over banks, logs, and stumps with ease. The biggest added benefit is the ability to have more steering control through extreme conditions. No seams to crack or leak.

Airboat Style Rake

Gator Trax Boats uses a long, sloping, airboat style rake. This allows the boat to plane very quickly and to stay on plane under a heavy forward load. It also allows the bow of the hull to ride higher making for a safer ride in rough water.

Longitudinal Braces

Gator Trax Boats uses longitudinal braces that run from the bow to the stern. No braces that cross the hull are touching the bottom of the hull. When an underwater object is struck, the bottom can flex between the longitudinal braces. If the hull strikes objects hard enough to dent the aluminum, it will be in a tunneling fashion. This results in no parasitic drag or degradation of performance.

Purpose Built Boats for the Extreme Outdoors

Building a quality product that will go the distance under extreme conditions is our #1 priority. Our entire business model is to get the best performance in shallow water and we have set the bar on that for almost two decades.

There is Gator Trax Boats performance and then there is everyone else.
